After 20 years as a midwife and labor & delivery nurse, I discovered that the same presence and attunement required to support physical birth is also what we need for our ongoing psychological and spiritual emergences.

 

The practitioner's role is to support conditions where the body's innate wisdom can unfold. Trusting the natural processes, holding presence through the intensity, and knowing when skilled intervention serves a greater unfolding.
